  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Skewers for grilling (wooden or metal)

  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4-5 green cardamom pods
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 1-inch cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Fresh cream for garnish

Instructions:

Preparing the Soya Chaap:

  1. Wash the soya chaap pieces thoroughly under running water to remove any residue.
  2. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and vegetable oil.
  3. Add the soya chaap pieces to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for best results.
  4. Thread the marinated chaap pieces onto skewers.

Grilling the Soya Chaap:
