Soya Chaap Recipe at home with naan

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

For the Marinade:

  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 tablespoon black salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Soya Chaap:
    • Boil water in a large pot and add the soya chaap pieces.
    • Boil for about 10-15 minutes or until they become soft and plump.
    • Drain the water and let the chaap cool.
  2. Prepare the Marinade:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for the marinade.
    • Whisk until you get a smooth and creamy consistency.
  3. Marinate the Soya Chaap:
    • Cut the boiled and cooled soya chaap into bite-sized pieces.
    • Place the chaap pieces in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them.
